LotusFlare participated in UNICEF Serbia yearly basketball tournament and contributed to a great cause – support and raising awareness of the Improvement program for mental health of children and young people.
Belgrade, Serbia – September 27, 2022 – Last weekend, LotusFlare, provider of a cloud-native digital commerce and monetization service for communications and media service providers, joined Serbia IT, telco and other companies in UNICEF Serbia traditional humanitarian basketball tournament known as “Fair Play”.
The goal of this year’s Fair Play basketball tournament was to support the Improvement Program for the mental health of children and young people. LotusFlare Serbia team was one of more than 20 companies who participated, helping to raise more than 2 million RSD towards the program.
“We’re very pleased to have been invited to participate in the Fair Play event. The cause of raising awareness of children’s mental health is most certainly worthy and relevant, especially when there are so many influences that children and young people are now exposed to,” said Sam Gadodia, CEO of LotusFlare. “LotusFlare supports the work of UNICEF especially in the area of digital inclusion and we look forward to future cooperation with them.”
Through participating in this tournament, LotusFlare also supported UNICEF’s online platform that helps adolescents and young people (aged 13 to 24) find useful information on the most common but important issues in the lives of young people and proven ways to resolve them.
